The 2026 NRC Band Drum Major, Makayla Rudek, is attending the Texoma Marching Arts & Leadership Camp in Ardmore this week! She is one of approximately 80 drum majors at the camp along with many band students, color guard students, and band leadership students. Makayla will be honing her skills and come back ready to lead the marching band! Way to go, Makayla! Have a great time!

OSSAA Dead Week will take place June 27–July 5, 2026. During this time, all OSSAA member schools, including North Rock Creek, must observe a break from school-related athletic activities. This means there will be no school-sponsored practices, no use of school athletic facilities for athletic purposes, and no contact between coaches and student-athletes for training or instruction. Dead Week is designed to give our student-athletes time to rest, recharge, and enjoy a break from organized activities. We hope everyone enjoys the time off, and we look forward to seeing our Cougars back after Dead Week! 🐾
