Supporting our students. Honoring our partnerships. Strengthening our community.
A huge, heartfelt thank you to the Absentee Shawnee Tribe Executive Committee for their incredibly generous donation to North Rock Creek's Native American Student Association (NASA)!
This wonderful contribution highlights our strong, ongoing partnerships within our tribal communities. It will directly support our Native American students by providing additional services, activities, and opportunities across North Rock Creek Public Schools.
The check was proudly presented by Joseph Blanchard, Treasurer of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma, to Carissa Hinton, Native American Education Director; our amazing NRC NASA students; High School Principal Justin MacDonald; and members of the NRC Native American Parent Committee.

Last week was all about looking ahead at North Rock Creek!
NRC hosted a College Fair that brought together around 50 universities, 9 surrounding schools, and hundreds of students for an opportunity to explore what could come next after high school.
Later that afternoon, our NRC students turned their focus to future careers during Career Day, hearing from more than 30 professionals representing a variety of fields and career paths.
From college campuses to future careers, it was a great day of helping students explore their options, ask questions, and start thinking about what their future could hold.
A huge thank you to all of the universities, schools, professionals, and community partners who helped make the day possible! 🐾❤️
