We are looking forward to welcoming our students and staff back tomorrow, Thursday, January 29! We are thankful for today’s sunshine and hopeful for improved conditions as we return to school.

A huge thank you to the City of Shawnee, ODOT, and Pottawatomie County Emergency Management crews for their hard work clearing the main roads across our community. We truly appreciate you!
While main roads have improved, many side roads remain snow-packed and could make travel difficult for our buses and families, so with safety as our top priority, school will not be held tomorrow.

Our No Tax Increase 2026 Bond is coming up quickly on Tuesday, February 10th. This bond includes plans for a new elementary and secondary building, helping us keep up with continued enrollment growth at North Rock Creek.
If funding allows, the bond could also support a high school expansion featuring a black box theater, living history classroom, and innovative science labs, along with a physical education expansion that includes a new weight room, locker rooms, and a hospitality space to better serve school and community events.
Polls will be open on Election Day from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.

Due to safety concerns, the boys and girls basketball teams will not play tomorrow, Friday, January 23, in the Washington Tournament. This decision was made with the safety of our students and staff as our top priority. We will share updated information once the games are rescheduled. Stay warm and safe! 🐾❄️

The NRC Archery Teams participated in the St. Jude Charity Shoot at home this past Friday. Not only was it their final State Qualifier shoot but they raised over $400 for St. Jude Children's hospital!
