We hope to see you at our annual Veterans Day Assembly this morning at 9:00 AM as we come together to recognize and thank those who have served our country so bravely. 🇺🇸

Our Cheer and Pom teams brought the energy at Game Day Regionals this weekend and have officially qualified for State! We’re so proud of their hard work and spirit — let’s cheer them on as they head to State this week! 🎉🐾

The NRC High School Band, along with the Tecumseh and Meeker High School Bands, invites you to a Veterans Day Celebration honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.
Join us for an evening of performances, patriotic music, and a fireworks display as we come together to remember and celebrate our veterans.
All veterans, families, and community members are welcome. We look forward to celebrating this special night of honor with you! 🇺🇸🎶

Be a part of the NRC Christmas Angels! The NRC National Junior Honor Society is collecting donations through December 5 to help purchase gifts for NRC students in need. Elementary classrooms that raise the most money will earn a pizza party, and intermediate through high school students can buy $1 tickets for a chance to throw a pie in the face of one of our amazing principals. Let’s come together to make the season brighter for everyone!

It’s Game Day and Senior Night! Join us tonight as we celebrate our cross country, band, and football seniors at 5:30 PM. Kick-Off follows at 7:00 PM when we take on the Anadarko Warriors. Come out, make some noise, and help us honor our seniors in style! 🐾

Our Special Olympics Team is on a roll!

They did an amazing job at both the Singles Competition (Oct 20) and Unified Doubles (Oct 22) events — great teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship all around!

Next up: On Saturday, November 8th, they’ll make history with their first-ever 5v5 Basketball Competition! This is a huge moment for the team, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to hit the court together. 🏀

Today’s Community Helper Day at the Elementary was a success! Thank you to the Shawnee Police Department, Shawnee Fire Department, REACT, and Pottawatomie County Emergency Management for joining us and helping students learn about the heroes who serve our community every day!

NRC Archery Starts Strong!
The NRC Archery team kicked off the season with a 2nd place finish at the McLoud Halloween Shoot!

Congratulations to Angela Rodea, High School Female Champion, and Carson Matlock, High School Male Runner-Up!

The momentum continues as all NRC Archery teams compete this weekend at the NRC Veterans Weekend Tournament, followed by the Meeker Turkey Tourney next week.

We’re thrilled to share that Sophie Morris has been selected as a Middle-East All-Stater! She’ll represent our team in the Fast Pitch All-State Game this June.

Earlier this week, we gathered for our Annual Academic Letter Sweater Banquet to celebrate the top 10% of our senior class who are working toward their Honors Diploma. The evening provided an opportunity to recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance these students have demonstrated throughout their academic careers.
We are so proud of each one of them and grateful for the teachers, staff, and families who have encouraged and supported them along the way. Their achievements reflect not only their own efforts but also the guidance and care of everyone who has helped them reach this point.
A heartfelt thank you to Sovereign Bank Oklahoma for sponsoring the event and to Mr. MacDonald for organizing such a meaningful celebration. We’re lucky to have a community that comes together to honor our students and their accomplishments. 🐾
