Last week, our volleyball and cheer teams were recognized as 4A Academic State Champions! 🎉
We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes for their dedication in the classroom and their sports. Their hard work truly paid off—congratulations to all!

Our cheer and pom teams are headed to state this weekend! Good luck to both groups as they compete at Union High School in Tulsa!
Pom will perform on Friday, November 14th at 9:25 AM, and Cheer will take the floor on Saturday, November 15th at 4:00 PM.

Eight talented NRC students took home top honors at the Pottawatomie Cattlemen’s Beef Bowl this past Saturday — and seven of them are proud members of our FFA program! 🐄💙💛

This is a huge accomplishment, with each winner earning between $400 and $1,200 in prize money. Way to go, students! 🐾

Our NRC Special Olympics team competed in their first-ever 5v5 basketball games this weekend — and it was incredible!

This game was a thriller! It went back and forth the whole way, and when it went into overtime, the entire gym was watching and cheering.

Be a part of the NRC Christmas Angels! The NRC National Junior Honor Society is collecting donations through December 5 to help purchase gifts for NRC students in need. Elementary classrooms that raise the most money will earn a pizza party, and intermediate through high school students can buy $1 tickets for a chance to throw a pie in the face of one of our amazing principals. Let’s come together to make the season brighter for everyone!

It’s Game Day and Senior Night! Join us tonight as we celebrate our cross country, band, and football seniors at 5:30 PM. Kick-Off follows at 7:00 PM when we take on the Anadarko Warriors. Come out, make some noise, and help us honor our seniors in style! 🐾

Our Special Olympics Team is on a roll!

They did an amazing job at both the Singles Competition (Oct 20) and Unified Doubles (Oct 22) events — great teamwork, energy, and sportsmanship all around!

Next up: On Saturday, November 8th, they’ll make history with their first-ever 5v5 Basketball Competition! This is a huge moment for the team, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to hit the court together. 🏀

Today’s Community Helper Day at the Elementary was a success! Thank you to the Shawnee Police Department, Shawnee Fire Department, REACT, and Pottawatomie County Emergency Management for joining us and helping students learn about the heroes who serve our community every day!

NRC Archery Starts Strong!
The NRC Archery team kicked off the season with a 2nd place finish at the McLoud Halloween Shoot!

Congratulations to Angela Rodea, High School Female Champion, and Carson Matlock, High School Male Runner-Up!

The momentum continues as all NRC Archery teams compete this weekend at the NRC Veterans Weekend Tournament, followed by the Meeker Turkey Tourney next week.
