Last Friday, NRC’s Class of 2025 Seniors and Kindergartners continued a special tradition- meeting on the playground for some fun and time together between the oldest and youngest Cougars! 🐾❤️

Happy National Principals' Day! We want to take a moment to thank the principals of North Rock Creek for their leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to our students, staff, and community. From cheering on students at events to making tough calls and keeping things running smoothly—you do it all with heart and dedication. Thank you for being the driving force behind our success and for always putting students first. 🐾

CUB Week 2025 was a HUGE success thanks to students and stakeholders across the district! We raised $5,718 for OU Children's Teen Life program, nearly DOUBLING our original goal of $3,000! Thank you for buying pie-in-the-face tickets, attending 5th hour games, buying a Chick PHIL A meal, or attending our spaghetti dinner in January. We are excited to continue this momentum next spring!

‼️Athletic Updates: -The Junior High baseball games at NRC are canceled for today (4/8). -The softball games at NRC are still being played as scheduled today (4/8) at 5:00 PM. -Thursday's High School baseball home game is canceled and changed to an away game at Bristow.

Congratulations to Slayton Graham and Rody Wright for taking 1st place at the OKHS Fishing Tournament on Lake Texoma! With a 5-fish total of 17.87 lbs, they dominated the competition and also secured Big Bass of the tournament with a massive 4.77 lb catch! Way to go, guys! 🎣🏆

CUB Week, NRCHS' annual philanthropy week, is upon us! This year's theme is SUPER KIDS! Show your support for OU Children's Teen Life Program across the district from March 31 to April 4! Dress up, buy a shirt, donate a dollar for a chance to pie your Elementary principal in the face, or buy a wristband to attend 5th hour games (9th-12th graders) to support our goal of $5,000! The Native American Student Association (NASA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), National Honor Society (NHS), and High School Boys Golf team at North Rock Creek High School have received generous donations from BancFirst as part of the bank’s Spring 2025 school donation program. These contributions will directly support student organizations and activities, helping to enhance opportunities for leadership, academic excellence, athletics, and cultural engagement. North Rock Creek High School extends its sincere appreciation to BancFirst for investing in the success of our students and school community.

Congratulations to the NRC HS Boys Golf Team – North Canadian River Valley Conference Champions! 🏆 A huge shoutout to the entire team for their outstanding performance! Special recognition goes to: Carson Click – 1st place at the Conference Tournament with an impressive even par performance! Jet Smith – 2nd place at the Conference Tournament with a strong 78! The Shawnee Kiwanis Pancake Feed is coming up on April 2, 2025, at the Shawnee Expo Center! 🥞 ⏰ 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 💲 $10.00 Donation (Children under 5 eat FREE with an adult donation!) This year, we’re thrilled that our third-grade students are able to attend! Plus, a big shoutout to our baseball boys, who will be working a shift in the evening to help support this great event.
