Middle & High Schoolers—stop by the Middle School lobby tomorrow to grab a treat and support our basketball boys! Whether you’re treating yourself or surprising someone special, it’s a win-win! 🍓🏀
On Friday, a group of NRC students and staff, including Marlee Reece, Dallas Houghton, CJ Stephens, Dawson Terrell, and Mrs. Smith, attended the Oklahoma Mission of Mercy clinic, which provided free dental care to 500 patients. Dallas assisted in oral surgery before helping in restorative care, where CJ, Dawson, Marlee, and Mrs. Smith worked primarily on cavity treatments alongside 35 dentists, many of whom were OU dental students. As the number of dental assistants dwindled, our students stepped up, receiving hands-on training from dental students. They worked tirelessly from 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM with only a brief lunch break, yet the kids remained dedicated and eager to learn. Their willingness to help and enthusiasm for the experience made us all incredibly proud, and some even joked they could now fill a cavity themselves!

Tomorrow's High School basketball games at NRC have been updated. We will only be playing the JV girls game at 4:30 PM and the Varsity girls game at 6:00 PM. The McLoud boys have canceled due to illness on their team, so the JV and Varsity boys games are also canceled. Additionally, the NASA Indian Taco Sale and Cougar Youth Night have been postponed to a later date.
Stop by the softball auction tomorrow night at the home basketball games to support our amazing softball program! Bid on some delicious desserts while cheering on our Cougars! Let’s make it a sweet night for a great cause! 🐾 🏀 🍰

Marlee Reece, NRC Senior, has set up a drop box in the High School lobby to collect donations for her senior project, and is teaming up with the Middle School STUCO students to expand it into their site!
Here’s what they're working on:
✅ Completing a hygiene closet for both schools
✅ Installing a feminine products cart in the girls' bathrooms in both the Middle and High Schools to make sure no one goes without what they need.
