On November 11th, NRC held its annual district-wide Veterans Day Assembly, a time-honored tradition celebrating the courageous men and women who have served our country. This year's assembly brought together students, staff, and community members to pay tribute to our nation’s veterans in a powerful and moving ceremony.

The assembly showcased performances and presentations from several groups within our schools, including the High School Band, elementary students, History Club members, BPA, and the FFA, each bringing their own heartfelt expressions of gratitude. From music to reflections on history and service, each group contributed to creating an atmosphere of respect and appreciation for our veterans.

The event’s highlight was a speech from our esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Larry Bland, a respected NRC High School teacher and veteran himself. His words resonated deeply with everyone in attendance, offering insight into the dedication, sacrifice, and resilience that military service demands.

To all our veterans, NRC extends a sincere and heartfelt thank you. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment inspire us all, and we are proud to honor you today and every day.
